Slamming the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government without naming them, Mander tweeted, “I’ve come to know & love #Anirban, #Kanhaiya & #UmarKhalid. Few love their country as much: they’re fiercely devoted to justice for India’s disadvantaged people. To charge them, & #AnandTeltumbe with sedition is an outrage. Dissenting students & profs light our way to the future.”
